TwingTec wins in ESA BIC competition

The European Space Agency (ESA) sets up a new business incubation center in Switzerland to foster the deployment of space technology on earth. During the opening event yesterday,  SERI State Secretary Mauro Dell’Ambrogio, ESA Director General Professor Johann-Dietrich Wörner and ETH Vice President Research and Corporate Relations Professor Detlef Günther presented the first three startups selected for the first round of the Swiss ESA BIC program. TwingTec has convinced the jury with its compelling wind energy technology. The integration of satellite navigation will increase the power output of TwingPower. CEO Rolf Luchsinger says: “It is a great honor to be one of the first three start-ups to be taken up in this prestigious program. Next to the financial support we will profit a lot from ESA’s know how and network over the next year. I am really exited”.
