The world exposition 2017 was held in Astana, Kazakhstan from June 10th to September 10th. The theme of the EXPO was FUTURE ENERGY. TwingTec was presented at the Swiss Pavilion with a small scale model of the TT100 and a video. The pavilion had 250’000 visitors, among them Swiss celebrities such as the President of the Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard and Solar Impulse pioneer Bertrand Piccard, which both were intrigued by TwingTec’s wind energy drone.
