Dr. Cédric Galliot | Chief Production & Co-Founder
Cedric’s passion for both Legos and cars as a kid led a natural transition to mechanical engineering later in life. After completing his PhD in France at the Université de Bourgogne, specialising in composite materials, Cédric joined the Center for Synergetic Structures at Empa. After 10 years of research in the field of innovative lightweight structures, he co-founded TwingTec convinced that producing electricity with kites was more than just a crazy idea, it had the potential to contribute to a more sustainable future. An expert in composites and fabrics, Cédric has many years of experience in testing and FEM modelling of light-weight structures. With his unique background, Cédric makes sure the TwingTec drones are as light, strong and safe as possible.
