Peter Wolfensberger | Observer / Investor (Chairman 2018-2021)

Peter is an independent entrepreneur. He fittingly hails from Wolfensberg, his family namesake, a beautiful natural region in the highlands of Zurich where wild wolves can be spotted. He has an industrial background in the packaging industry and is an experienced multilingual communications expert. Owning SwissBaltic Business Experts AG, he finds attractive ways of collaboration between companies from Switzerland and abroad. As a member of the StartAngels Network, Peter participated in the 2015 funding round as an investor and joined the board. Peter has always been passionate about new technologies to support energy efficiency. Consequently he was an early adopter and owner of electric cars as early as 1991, following a co-sponsorship (with Bank Julius Bär) of 1987 at Tour de Sol: the fast, one person committing e-vehicle won its category in the race stage. He invested in TwingTec, as the team has built an innovative and practical approach to wind power not yet on the market. He has regular contact with the TwingTec team to help build strategies that will get this new technology to market.
